$600 10 hour refurb. Pickup extra based on distance. Parts at cost.
You pay a lump sum for 10 hours of work to the game. Once this is done I’ll report both what work has been done in that time and what I think could reasonably be done with any time after the initial 10 hours. Further work beyond the initial 10 hours would be billed at $75/hour. Typical turnaround time for this service is 2 weeks on average. Depending on my schedule and yours this can be adjusted.
For EMs: This could be getting the game back into a working state, cleaning, adjusting, or repairing score reels, the score motor or player/ball count/credit units. Once the game has been determined to be playable more work can be done to rebuild flippers or other playfield mechanisms, repairing and or replacing lamps and sockets, adjusting playfield switches, and cleaning and replacement of rubbers on the playfield.
For Solid States and WPC games this would involve repinning and or replacing connectors, rebuilding playfield mechs like flippers and pop bumpers and ensuring all switches and lamps are operational. Beyond this bulletproofing common failure areas such as WPC GI, Gottlieb grounds, Williams 40 pin interconnect for sys3-7 etc.
I have experience working on games of all eras. In particular I enjoy working on EMs, Williams System 3-7, early Bally/Stern, Zaccaria Gen 2, Gottlieb Sys1 and Sys80, Williams System 11, WPC 89 and 95, and Gottlieb System 3. More Modern Sterns can be good candidates for repair as long as they are not suffering from node board or other circuit board issues, as these are hard to source for replacement and repair is not currently an option.
$120/hour House Call. Minimum 2 hours, Parts at cost.
If you have a game suffering from a particular problem this may be a good option for repair. I find that it is most helpful to have a 10-15 minute phone call to talk about what the problem is and I can give you an idea of the time and cost that it might take to repair it. I want in-home repairs to be worth your time and money as well as mine. Making sure that we are on the same page as far as expectations and repair needed is important to me.
I travel throughout the Puget Sound region for this service. Depending on distance additional mileage charges may apply.
$1200-$1500 Playfield Swap Parts at cost. Price depends on complexity and part replacement.
If you have a new playfield for a game and are looking to replace the current one I offer a full playfield swap service. For this service I suggest at minimum a replacement of old hardware. Screws, bare wire, lamp sockets, pop bumper mechs, under playfield mechs, some decals etc can all be replaced to make sure that the new playfield not only looks great but also plays great as well. Depending on customer wants, outside services for metal plating can be obtained. Beyond this, new plastics, ramps and other playfield mechanisms can be replaced at cost.
